Sure would be great if HP actually supported the devices that they produce. But it would seem that. in the years time that I've owned my HP envy, waiting for the drivers for sound to come out or support to be there, it somehow has been glazed over. I'm guessing in the quest to produce new devices to get people to purchase what the newest device that again won't have the proper support This is the first device that I have ever purchased that didn't come with the driver's necessary for both Linux and Windows for every system hardware in there. I mean, I could use this. necessary commands I could see the devices. They are there yet. There's no solution, no workaround. What gives HP? I mean honestly, do you guys not hold your product to a higher standard Yet you take our cash or money for your product in $1800 machine doesn't come with the support. the drivers for both windows and Linux I prefer Linux I don't want to use windows yet I can only have the best of my machine would have it would appear on windows which is garbage.

@mikewh0,

In a perfect world, perhaps it would be great if HP provided Linux support for, well, everything.  But to be fair, HP never claimed they would either, and I quote: "Linux: HP may not provide drivers, patches, or upgrades for Linux[.]" -emphasis added.

Kind Regards,
