Windows is up to date and the latest drivers for bluetooth and sound have been installed. All troubleshooters have been run. The message on the soundbar says it is paired. Action center in Windows says the LG Soundbar is connected. Clicking "connect" in the Sound Control Panel does not work even though it is darkened (selectable). LG Soundbar works with iPhone and iPod. The driver for the Soundbar is also up to date.

@Vinny6 Welcome to HP Community!
Here are the steps to select the bluetooth speakers as the default sound output for your device:
a. Click on Start, select Control Panel.
b. Select the "Sound" menu.
c. On the Playback tab, select the Bluetooth Speakers, click Configure, and then make sure the configurations are set correctly.
d. Check if your Bluetooth headphones are already set as the default device.
e. Select the sound device that you want as the default sound device, and then click Set Default.
f. Click OK to save your settings and to close the Sound dialog box.
Let me know how that pans out,
