Product: HP Laptop with beats audio
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

With the Covid 19 lockdown happening, I decided to dust off my old HP laptop and set it up for Skype.

I downloaded the version of Skype to suit windows 7 (originally loaded on my laptop). Then tried a test call with a friend.

Everything worked except my friend couldn't  hear me. I checked a few settings and it appears that my in built microphone isn't working. Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi I have the same issue I tested all the possible ways and nothing seems working I had my laptop for almost a year now and I just find out the mic is not working did you gets your to work?

Sorry, no I haven't fixed the problem as yet.

I did try reloading the microphone drivers but that didn't work
