HP Spectre x360 14 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 14-eu0000 (8Y6Y3AV)

In one month there is going to be 1 year as I have been using my brand new hp spectre 14 2024 and I have 3 main issues which I really can't solve without support:

  1. There is noise from one of the fans, especially at low speeds. The device has not been dropped, spilled on, etc. The noise is characteristic, like rattling, as if the fan is rubbing against something.

  2. The speakers started to hum at higher volumes. Initially, I thought it was just my imagination, but now, even when testing the speakers in the settings panel, you can hear a hum and vibration. I’ll immediately mention that reinstalling or updating the drivers didn’t help. The problem does not extend to headphones connected to the device.

  3. The sound and Bluetooth drivers frequently disconnect, and earlier, the WiFi drivers also used to fail. I have the HP Support Assistant application, so all software is up to date. A typical scenario is as follows: I connect headphones via Bluetooth, and the sound plays very quietly for a couple of minutes. Then the sound disappears completely, YouTube displays "Your audio decoder encountered an error," and it becomes impossible to play any media without completely restarting the device.Hope technical Support will help me to solve all of them, because I really enjoyed using HP before those problems appeared and don't want to replace it with smth else.

HI @ZiganshinnArtur,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Thank you for reaching out and for your continued trust in HP products. I'm sorry to hear about the issues you've been experiencing with your HP Spectre 14 (2024 model). Let's try a few steps and this should help resolve the issue.

Step 1: try a BIOS Restore on the Pc once done check for the version installed.

BIOS Restore :
1) Shutdown the computer and keep the  charger plugged
2) Hold down the Windows and B button together while the computer is still turned off.
3) Turn on the computer and continue to hold the Windows and B button until a BIOS Recovery screen appears.
4) Follow on-screen instructions and click on OK

Step 2: From our HP Website try to update to the latest BIOS version F.13 Rev.A

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
