Hello, I have a Pavilon 15-ab215nt laptop and I love it, but I'm having a sound problem. I've tried everything but can't figure it out. Even with the volume set to 100%, I can barely hear my laptop while watching something in the browser. However, when I check the volume in the sound options, it's louder than it should be. I've tried everything to fix the sound problems , but the problem persists. I'd appreciate any help.

@rknksy, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
It sounds like you're dealing with a sound issue on your HP Pavilion 15-ab215nt laptop. Since you've already tried adjusting the volume settings without success, let's go through a few troubleshooting steps that should help fix the problem.
Check Audio Settings in Windows
Right-click the sound icon in the bottom-right corner of the taskbar.
Select Open Sound Settings or Sounds.
Under Output, make sure the correct audio device (likely "Speakers" or "Realtek High Definition Audio") is selected.
Click on Device Properties, and ensure that Spatial Sound is set to Off for normal stereo sound.
Update Audio Drivers
Outdated or corrupt drivers can cause sound issues. To update your audio drivers:
Right-click the Start button and select Device Manager.
Scroll down and expand the Sound, video and game controllers section.
Right-click on Realtek High Definition Audio (or whatever your audio device is) and select Update driver.
Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.
If a new driver is found, let Windows install it, and then restart your laptop.
If this doesn't work, you can also go to the HP Support website and search for drivers specifically for your laptop model (Pavilion 15-ab215nt).
Run Windows Troubleshooter for Sound
Open Settings by pressing Win + I.
Go to Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
Scroll down and select Playing Audio.
Run the troubleshooter and let it detect and resolve any issues it finds.
Test with External Speakers or Headphones
To rule out a hardware issue with your laptop speakers, try plugging in headphones or external speakers. If the sound works fine through these, the problem could be with the internal laptop speakers.
Reset Sound Settings
If none of the above steps work, you can try resetting the sound settings to default:
Open Control Panel (search for it in the Start menu).
Go to Hardware and Sound > Sound.
Right-click on your default playback device (usually Speakers) and select Set as Default Device.
Click on the Advanced tab, and under Default Format, select a lower quality (e.g., 16 bit, 44100 Hz).
Click Apply, then OK.
Check for BIOS Update
HP sometimes releases BIOS updates that resolve hardware-related issues like sound problems. Here's how to check for a BIOS update:
Go to the HP Support website.
Enter your laptop’s model number (Pavilion 15-ab215nt).
Under Software and Drivers, search for BIOS updates.
If there's an update available, follow the instructions to download and install it.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.

Garp_senchau thanks for your attention. I tried all of your suggestions however these didn't solve my problem. I even tried HP Support Assistant to solve my sound problem but it couldnt find a problem as you can see below. My sound problem stills as a solid rock on my way.
