HI,
Recently purchased this laptop which was a display model, so I reformatted the entire hard drive and reinstalled a fresh version of windows 10. I have been to HP support and installed all drivers etc HOWEVER there is no listed driver/software for the Bang and Olufsen desktop app, this laptop is branded with B&O and advertised as having this software. So i would like to get it back.
I have looked at both HP and B&O websites and cannot find this at anywhere i have seen numerous other threads dealing with a similar issue and none have been given answers.
Can someone please provide a link to redownload this software.

Hi,
The B&o gui is provided by the Realtek HD Audio software package on the following link.
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp79501-80000/sp79899.exe
When the installation has completed, restart the notebook.

Hi David,
Thanks for your reply, thats exactly what i was looking for, seems i missed that driver when updating from the website. I now have the B&O app back on the laptop.
The unfortuante part is the speaker now makes a rattling noise when using more than 50% volume (either the speaker itself or a part inside the speaker grill). This appears to be due to the B&O app amplifying the volume (if turning off the B&O app the rattling can still be heard but is quite faint as the audio itself is not very strong) after serveral hours on the phone to support who simply updated drivers/bios they stated it was functioning as expected which is strange as speakers are not supposed to rattle in this way when designed properly.
