Product: HP ENVY x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15-es0000 (268T5AV)
The media buttons f9, f10, and f11 (the play/pause button and the skip back/forward buttons) do not work with iTunes when the screen is off. The buttons function properly with iTunes when the screen is on, but as soon as the screen turns off or goes to a screen saver, the buttons no longer work.
If music/audio is playing through the internet (YouTube, etc.) or Windows Media Player Legacy, the buttons work with the screen on or off; so the issue appears to be isolated to the iTunes application.
I have tried several solutions described in other posts and online, but none have resolved my issue and I have not seen this specific issue noted anywhere.
