Product: HP Envy 15-j040er product number: F4W38EA#ACB
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have HP Envy 15-j040er product number: F4W38EA#ACB

Windows 10 update 1803 made my internal microphone not working, speakers are fine, reistalling drivers didn't help.

 

Only thing which I mentioned, on mic properties when I check "Listen to this device" itstarts listening but with echo from speaker, though apps like skype, zoom doesn't work.

turning on Settings -> Privacy -> Microphone -> Allow apps to access your microphone did the work
