Product: HP 250 15.6 inch G9 Notebook PC (511W0AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
Product: HP 250 15.6 inch G9 Notebook PC (6F1Z9EA) OS: Windows 11 24H2 I have an external USB microphone connected to the notebook. This microphone has been working fine on another PC with same OS for weeks in any circumstances. So the problem is microphone gets muted (i.e. disabled, with volume at 100%) in system settings without me touching anything after random time intervals that vary from 15 minutes to 2 hours. My OS install is fresh, the only programs I have there is a VoIP client and office suite. I didn't install any software or drivers from official HP resources since Windows does it automatically (even BIOS update). And here's what I've tried: 1) Reconnect the mic 2) Switch USB ports 3) Reinstall mic drivers 4) Checked "Do nothing" in "When Windows detects communications activity:" dialog 5) Unchecked "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" 6) Disabled audio enhancements 7) Changed audio format
