Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

After update from HP built-in microphone (Conexant Smart-Audio) does not work at all.

How to go about it?

I understand that microphone on your laptop is not working after the update.

 

Please update the audio driver from below link.

 

Version: 10.1.684.45 
Audio driver link: ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp74001-74500/sp74370.exe

 

Please let me know the outcome.

I already did and everything works well, finally.

Since I am not very good with computers, perhaps I did something wrong.

I still have an issue with HP Connection Manager but don't bother me at the moment.

I am in Germany doing some work here. I recently bought this computer here and the Window 7 runs in german, so can practice the language.

I will come back to this in more convenient time.
