Here's the issue: when i open Zoom to attend a Dr.'s appt, the microphone in the computer doesn't pick up sound. I have explored all of the settings within zoom, and on my computer. it turns out that the microphone works, but not with Zoom for some reason. i have already explored the privacy settings on the laptop, and everything is enabled. I have the latest microsoft updates installed, and i have uninstalled and reinstalled zoom. I've restarted my computer several times, and yes, it's plugged in - there is no high impedance air gap to the power supply. 

 

I'm at my wit's end with this. i have explored every option that i could find on the internet and the boards. the only thing that works is an LG mic headset. I would like for my $1500 computer that came with an onboard mic to work without a separate headset.  Please Help!

Zoom gives you 2 options one for video and one for sound when JOINING. Please click both options.
