I got a brand new Pavillion laptop with Windows 11. Today in my first zoom session the attendee could barely hear me or at times I was muffled and went in and out. I tested the microphone on the device with that utility and it sounds fine, but through zoom my attendee has a hard time hearing me. What do I need to do this. Zoom meetings are mission critical for me. thanks,

Please allow Zoom to use microphone. Please use the following Guide

Thanks. I've done that in Windows 11 and zoom (both updated versions). There seems to be something about the updated version of zoom that is "smart" and it can literally filter out anything other than the human voice no matter what settings you use. I tested it in video call through FB Messenger and you can clearly hear my voice and the accompanying metronome, but not in Zoom. I have Win 10 laptop and you can hear it perfectly in zoom.
