The microphone is not working on my HP Envy Laptop.cg000na. I have tried all the suggestions on the HP Support Assistant and the Microsoft Trouble Shooter. The fault started after a recent Windows update after which neither the speakers or the microphone worked. The Microsoft Troubleshooter fixed the speakers and they are working well. But not the microphone. The laptop is still under warranty and may have to be returned, but I was not able to contact HP HP last week, which is quite understandable in the present Covid 19 world that we live in. I will continue to attempt to make contact tomorrow, but in the meantime if anyone on the Community can help me I would be most grateful.
