Hi,
My laptop doesn't recognize the mic on my headphones. They have TRRS 3.5mm jack but when I plug them in it still uses the laptop mic instead of the the one on the headphones. Omen Audio Control doesn't give me any options to set it up.
Thanks in advance for help

May I know the headset which used?
Please find the picture of the 3.5jack(3 bands) connect in order to work for the headset or microphone to work.

Hi @Praveenbv,
It is the jack like on the picture (TRRS). The headphones I use are JBL TUNE 700BT, They can connect via bluetooth or cable. When I connect them via bluetooth the sound is distorted when I connect them with cable sound is good but microphone is not detected by Omen Audio Control.

Bluetooth has other issues. My question was regarding cable connection and Omen audio control, i need your help in that issue. So if you can tell me how to switch to regular Realtek HD Audio manager or how to set my headset in omen audio control.

MilGard@
- Click the small speaker icon next to the clock on your Windows taskbar.
- Select the small up arrow to the right of your current audio output device.
- Select your output of choice from the list that appears.
In the first image, you see that I have speakers selected at 100% volume. I click the up arrow to the right of that and you will see a list similar to that in the second image. Select the device you want to use and Windows will switch output immediately.

We have done the basic troubleshooting as per the document and the notebook needs to checked taking remote access so that get to know it's a hardware or software issue.
I'd suggest you contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer or HP Chat Support Team.
