Is your notebook a 15" version? You have only partially identified your notebook.
It would be better if you used the ProdID that is in the tiny lettering on the bottom of the notebook.
If your notebook is the 15" version, which would make it a 15-ac153ne notebook, reinstall the Intel chipset driver found at the driver downlaod page the the link below this line.
Until you know specifically which notebook a member has, kindly do not recommend installation of any drivers or software. The forum policy to which you agreed was do no harm.

That means that the key works.
If after the new BIOS installed there is no change in the LED on/off status, the issue is likely to be a LED component failure.
