Product: HP ProBook 450 G7; HP ProBook 450 G5
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

My Mute and Microphone button light is not working on Windows 11 22H2. A clean install of Windows 11 and drivers from the site (or WU) did not give anything. Works only after the device is rebooted. The latest BIOS versions are installed 01.16.00 (ProBook 450 G7) and 01.23.00 (ProBook 450 G5). It's clear that the problem is in the sound drivers, the only question is how long does it take for everything to finally work as it should?

 

UPD I found a solution, problem with drivers received from WU. WU automatically updated drivers, even when disabled at the group policy level. But now on my ProBook 450 G7 got a new problem with Intel SST (Error in Logs).
