@Praveen0629, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Check Microphone Permissions

Press Win + I to open Settings.

Go to Privacy & security > Microphone.

Make sure Microphone access and Let apps access your microphone are both turned On.

Scroll down and make sure Desktop apps and key apps (Zoom, Teams, etc.) have access.

Run HP PC Hardware Diagnostics for Audio

Turn off your laptop completely.

Press Esc repeatedly during boot, then press F2 for System Diagnostics.

Choose Component Tests > Audio and follow the on-screen test for the microphone.

Update or Roll Back Audio Drivers

Press Win + X, then choose Device Manager.

Expand Audio inputs and outputs and Sound, video, and game controllers.

Right-click your microphone or Realtek Audio / Intel Smart Sound Technology device:

Choose Update driver > Search automatically.

If that fails, try Roll back driver (if available).

If nothing works, uninstall the device, then reboot. Windows should reinstall it.

Run the Windows Troubleshooter

Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.

Find Recording Audio, click Run, and follow prompts.

Try Using HP Support Assistant

Open HP Support Assistant.

Run Audio Check under Troubleshooting.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
