Hi there! This is Josh.
I am experiencing a lot of audio problems with my HP Pavilion Laptop 15-cs0xxx. It's been a week since I got this laptop and I noticed the problems 3 days after primarily using it.
First, the audio syncing is off. I noticed this while streaming videos from Youtube. It was working fine at first but after a few minutes into streaming, the audio and video syncing went off. I tried pausing then playing the stream a few times but no chance of fixing it. The only fix I find is by refreshing the page. The second time I noticed this was when I was watching videos from my external hard drive. I was using Movies & TV (Windows 10 default app) when this problem occurred and then I tried playing it on VLC Media Player but I also experienced glitches (grey screen) so I restarted my laptop to temporarily fix this problem.
My second problem is as annoying as the first one. Whenever I am playing or watching videos, aside from getting out of sync, my screen will experience a few lags and the audio will start garbling or will sound something like it is being distorted. It is really troubling because it ruins the quality of the audio. I still have not found any temporary fix for this other than restarting my PC.
Lastly, my audio playback is delayed for a few seconds. Whether I am streaming a video online or playing it from my hard drive, this problem always happens. I will just pause the video for a couple of seconds and the delay will occur after I played it.
I have been troubleshooting for days and these are the things that I have already done:
1. Updated all my drivers from HP.
2. Updated Windows.
3. Run the "Find and fix audio playback problems" troubleshooter.
4. Disabled all the audio enhancements of my speaker.
5. Deleted the cookies and caches of my web browser.
6. Replaced my Realtek High Definition Audio SST driver to Microsoft > High Definition Audio Device driver.
7. Even tried the audio drivers from Intel.
All of these and I am still not able to find a permanent fix to my audio problems. I am really hoping that someone will be able to help me as soon as possible.
Thank you so much!
