My volume has suddenly been switched off and I can't reset it. I've gone through the remote check with HP and that hasn't resolved the issue.

Could you please share your HP product name or model number (like HP Pavilion 15, Envy x360, etc.)?
Is the volume muted only through the built-in speakers, or do headphones and Bluetooth audio also have no sound?
When you check the sound icon in the taskbar, do you see a red "X" or any error message?
