Hi @RisingHell ,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Victus 16.1 Inch Gaming Laptop's internal speakers are stuck at 100% volume, you can try the following steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
Restart your laptop: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve software glitches or conflicts. Restart your laptop and check if the issue persists.
Check Volume Mixer: Right-click on the speaker icon in the system tray and select "Open Volume Mixer." Ensure that all volume levels are set to an appropriate level. Sometimes, individual applications may have their volume set to maximum.
Update Audio Drivers: Ensure that you have the latest audio drivers installed for your laptop. You can visit the HP support website, enter your laptop model, and download the latest audio drivers. After downloading, install the drivers and restart your laptop.
Windows Sound Settings: Right-click on the speaker icon in the system tray and select "Open Sound settings." Under the "Output" section, select your internal speakers and click on "Device properties." Make sure the volume is set to an appropriate level.
Device Manager: Open Device Manager, locate the "Sound, video and game controllers" section, right-click on your audio device, and select "Update driver." Follow the on-screen instructions to update the driver.
Rollback Audio Driver: If you recently updated your audio driver and the issue started after the update, you can try rolling back the driver. In Device Manager, right-click on your audio device, select "Properties," go to the "Driver" tab, and click "Roll Back Driver" if available.
System Restore: If the issue started recently and you have a system restore point, you can restore your system to a point before the problem occurred. This can undo recent changes and configurations.
Check for Windows Updates: Ensure that your Windows 11 operating system is up to date. Sometimes, Microsoft releases updates that include fixes for various issues.
Reset Sound Settings: In the Sound settings, click on "Advanced sound options" and then click on "Reset." This will reset all audio settings to their default values.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
