HP ZBook Studio x360 G5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Since I got my laptop, I had the feeling that the sound of my speakers was a bit louder or different on the left as opposed to the right. However, as I have had this feeling with perfectly fine headphones before, I did not think too much of it. Today I carried out a little experiment in Ableton Live, and the result was quite shocking: when I panned a drum track to only the left channel, the music sounded full (bass/mid/highs and all) yet when I panned it to only the right, it sounded very tinny, no bass, a very hollow far-away sound. Is this design or is this a hardware problem? My laptop has Bang & Olufsen speakers installed.
