I have tried all the recommended advanced troubleshooting steps for audio in the Virtual Assistant.
My sound will work at proper volume for a few seconds and then will become very quiet (basically inaudible) even with the volume set to full.
Sound works fine when streamed through my Bluetooth Headphones.

This is something to do with AMD drivers. Please
(a) Uninstall Audio driver
(b) do a cleanup using following instructions
https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/gpu-601
https://drivers.amd.com/drivers/amdcleanuputility.exe
(c) reboot machine
Machine will re-install Audio driver for you.
