I have just bought a new HP envy 13 having had a great run with my old one.
However this new computer doesn't work well with recording from my Rodecaster pro with Audacity - it keeps klipping off the beginning or the end of words.
When I record directly to the Rodecaster Pro hard drive this doesn't happen - so something is going wrong when its interfacing with my computer.
Do I have a setting set wrong somewhere?
i've also tried it with a differency usb cable and Adobe Audition - the bad sound quality is the same...

Thanks for your response I think windows 11 has different menues but heres the information I could gather...

But what a rigmarole!
This is a brand new machine. It should just work right?
I was such a big fan of HP computers - I no longer am.
Think I'm going to go to customer services and get my money back..
