HP Envy x360 Convertible
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have a HP Envyx360 Convertible 15m-cn0xxx and the number is 3vu72ua#aba.  When I am on a meeting platform such as soon, google meets, etc I can clearly hear everyone who is speaking however, my voice is sticky, scratchy, and unintelligible.  I can't talk on these calls I can only use the chat feature.  I have tried running the diagnostics, etc and nothing works.  I have to provide training for teachers soon and will be unable to do so if this issue is not cleared up.  Originally everything worked fine and this problem began about 6 months ago.  The diagnostic fixes have not worked.  Thank you for your assistance.

@Mofr Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that the voice is distorted when at conferences on computers.

Do not worry. I will try to fix the issue.

Please perform the below steps.

Hard Reset:

1) Shutdown the computer.

2) Unplug all the Adapter and peripherals connected.

3) Remove the Battery. ( not for Built-in Battery computer )

4) Press and hold down the power button for 15 to 20 seconds.

5) Plug-in the Adapter and put the Battery back into the computer if it's a (removable battery)

6) Try to turn on the computer and check, If the issue persists continue next step

Please uninstall the audio drivers from the device manager and reinstall the audio drivers and update the BIOS.
