I own a HP ProBook 470 g1. Wth Windows 10 update, the previous audio driver was deleted from the system (I cannot revert to previous version of the system). Audio driver for ProBook 470 G1 is not available online, not even on HP support page:
https://support.hp.com/au-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-probook-470-g1-notebook-pc/5405414
My laptop is silent now. Any ideas how to fix this?
Thanks!

Hi,
Hold down the Windows key and press R
Into the Run window, type devmgmt.msc and hit enter.
In Device Manager, expand Sound, Video and Game Controllers. If you see a entry for idt hardware, right click this and select Properties. Click the Driver tab and then click 'Update driver'. Select 'Browse my computer for driver software' and then select 'Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer'. Left click 'High Definition Audio Device' once to highlight it and then click the Next button to install it.
Has this made any difference?

Hi,
Try the IDT HD Audio Software package below.
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp71501-72000/sp71886.exe
When the installation has completed, restart the notebook.
