After successfully downloading Win 11 SOUND was no longer available from either speaker or headset.

An X appeared below the speaker icon in the taskbar.

After reaching the HP virtual assistant and proceeding with the recommended tests, the diagnostic showed speaker “disconnected”; an impossibility considering that the computer was never physically altered.

Please help me resolve this problem.
