Need Audio Driver for HP TouchSmart M7- j120dx for Beats.

Just clean installed Win 10 and have a few driver problems, especially the audio.

I have read that sp65196. will work but MS Edge says that it "can't be downloaded securely" from this link:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp65001-65500/sp65196.exe

Can someone please indicate where I can find it?

I also can't get the microphone to work. Again, any help would be much appreciated

You have to use https not http:  https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp65001-65500/sp65196.exe

But please use newer driver for your machine

                      https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp71501-72000/sp71717.exe

Amazingly, Chrome allowed the installation, whereas MS Edge didn't.

It's now working and the sound quality is much better.

Unfortunately, the microphone is still not working, so help would be appreciated.

Thanks BH, but unfortunately, during installation, it said the hardware was not compatible with the new driver.

Which one ? the new one or the old one ? Your HP TouchSmart M7- j120dx is  not too old. Now please use older software

Before your reply, I got it to work with the sp65196. Chrome allowed it to download but MS Edge didn't.

I'll try your newer and new suggestions this evening when I get home,

I also finally resolved the microphone issue but changed so many settings that I have no idea which one worked.
