Need HP information online and in emails in the language I can understand

I have owned several HP All-in-One Printers, and they come with this unuseful HP+ or HPSmart software one must install on one's computer in order to use the printer. In my case, suddenly the whole thing turns into German, German emails, and German everything. I only speak French and English, NO German, yet there is no place to change the language, or modify the language on pages, emails, or this horrible imposed software. Why? HP is international. I live in a country with more than one excepted language, and lots of people do business in English, French, German, Italian, but come from all over the world.
