Hi, I just purchased a new HP Victus Laptop that came pre loaded with Windows 11 and everything is great except for the sound quality. Regardless of what headphones I use, they just end up sounding like cheap knock off earphones when connected to this laptop. They sound just fine on other devices, I have checked and compared multiple times.

Apparently this is a common issue with Windows 11 HP laptops based on the google results I got but I haven’t come across any solid solutions.

Can someone please help me out? I tried reaching out to support but they were useless.

Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... and I would like to help you.

(1) Run    msinfo32

- Select <System Summary>:

- copy/paste to following key/values pairs:

 

System SKU ( equals HP product number (p/n) )
BIOS Version/Date
SMBIOS Version
BaseBoard Model
BaseBoard Name


(2) Please report your results
