When I bought my laptop I've never had automatic sound. I took it to Costco and some IT guy said he fixed it. But after I leave me computer without using it for months it reverts back to
no sound device installed. I have to go to Device manager and under sound, video and game controllers I click Conexant ISST Audio Properties. It tells me to restart my computer and then I have sound.
Audio lasts for only a few days or hours. I have to do the Conexant ISST Audio Properties routine and restart my computer before I get sound again.
Is there something I need to install in my computer to get automatic sound? Thanks!
