Microsoft Windows 11

Hello,

after a Windows update last week, there is no Audio device available.

In the Device Manager it is mentioned, Intel High definition DSP was deleted ("Other Devices")

I tried to reinstall it, a lot without any success.

And there is no Audio device mentioned.

The solution I posted by Lachs seems to be suitable, but I am not sure, which kind of driver I should chose.

The Hardware-ID of the deleted one Intel High Defnition DSP is:  INTELAUDIO\DSP_CTLR_DEV_51CA&VEN_8086&DEV_0222&SUBSYS_8B41103C&REV_0001\4&320387&0&0800

HP EliteBook 860 16 G10

And I have Windows 11 23H2

Please tell me, how I can solve the problem.

Thanks a lot for Your help to repair the system.

Regards,

Mimota

That should also fit here:

Download the driver > unpack it into a folder with an unpacker like 7-Zip > in the Device Manager > Intel High Definition DSP > Update driver > Browse my computer for drivers > Browse button and select the folder with extracted files from the CAB file > OK > Next > Close
Sometimes a restart is necessary afterwards.

There are also some relatively new drivers for the HP EliteBook 860 16-inch G10 on the HP website.
