No Audio Devices Found

Hi everyone

My last system update was on 22/01/2024 from Windows 11 version 22H2 to Windows 11 version 23H2. Subsequently after this update I experienced audio issues. I couldn't hear any sound nor could I use my microphone on my laptop. 

I've tried updating my Intel Audio Display Driver and although it says its 'updated', my problem still exists. 

I can't seem to find a solution and its very inconvenient to operate in such situation.

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you.

Hi everyone,

So I solved my issue with the audio. Turns out that yes there was a driver that needed to be updated but it was not the one that everyone was showing ie in 'Sound, Video & Game Controllers.' In the photo, the highlighted software had an exclamation mark on it (!) which was a red flag for me, so I right click and updated the driver, next thing I saw was that my sound came back on.

I hope this info helps someone who might be having the same issue I did.
