Hi @Jude135

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I'm really sorry you're facing this issue—it’s incredibly frustrating when your HP notebook can’t connect to the internet, especially when everything else seems fine. Let’s walk through a few focused steps to help you get back online.

Step-by-step actions to restore internet connectivity on your HP notebook (Windows 11)

Check Wi-Fi is enabled:

  • Press Fn + F12 (or the key with a wireless icon) to toggle Wi-Fi on.
  • Alternatively, go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi and ensure it’s turned on.

Restart your router and notebook:

  • Power off your router for 30 seconds, then turn it back on.
  • Restart your notebook after the router is fully back online.

Forget and reconnect to your Wi-Fi network:

  • Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi > Manage known networks.
  • Select your network and click Forget.
  • Reconnect by selecting the network again and entering the password.

Run the Windows Network Troubleshooter:

  • Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.
  • Click Run next to Internet Connections.

Check the network adapter status:

  • Press Win + X > Device Manager.
  • Expand Network adapters.
  • Right-click your Wi-Fi adapter > Disable, wait 10 seconds, then Enable it again.

Reset network settings (if issue persists):

  • Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Advanced network settings > Network reset.
  • Click Reset now. Your PC will restart and reinstall network adapters.

If none of these steps work, let me know what you see under Settings > Network & Internet, and I’ll guide you further. You're doing the right thing by tackling this head-on.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
