I am in the United States. The laptop is no longer in warranty; is there any way this you can tell me how to fix this? thank you

@cenichols85 you could contact the local techs for assistance on this situation, as we may need to test the motherboard to ensure the sound card is functional and then, reinstall a fresh copy of windows after replacing the motherboard (since the sound card is usually inbuilt on the motherboard on laptops), let me know if you need anything else.

I have run several driver scans, and they all say that But I have tryed to update them, but they won't update. Can you tell me how to fix that, so maybe that could fix the sound. 

 The drivers that the scans say need to be updayed are:

- AMD PSP 1.0 device

- AMD high Defination Audio Device

- Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11 bgnwi-fi adapter

- Realtek PCle FE family controller

- Realtek PCIE cardreader

- AmdAS4 device

- AMD SMBus

Can you tell where I can automatically download them, so they will update? And maybe that could work.

@cenichols85 download and install the HP Support Assistant, if you don't have it already and that should help you download the drivers relevant to your computer: Click here for details (download link available under Install HP support assistant link)

And if the above doesn't work, you may want to look for 3rd party driver software such as driverscape, etc..
