No Sound from Speakers or Heads Phones Jack

Help please, i have all of a sudden lost sound from the Notebook speakers and head phone jack, it was working one moment, i put it down, picked it back up and sound is gone.

Have done multiple tests, including reloading the drivers, totally disconnecting and reconnecting and using diagnostic wizard all to no avail.

Everything suggests sound is working fine.

Thanks Banhien, unfortunately sp71717.exe and sp58213.exe is not supported by my system ( see below). 

Re the drivers i uninstalled the two sound drivers below, they auto re-installed after a shut down and restart.

That's good, it installed generic driver from Microsoft for you.

Unfortunately i still have no sound.  My driver install comment was only in response to your original comment.

Would you have any further suggestions on restoring sound, or i this laptop destined for the bin?

The sp58213.exe should work. Now please try it original driver

which is 11 years old.

The sp47318.exe download worked, but unfortunately - still no sound.

Would you have any other option or things to look for.  Is there some hidden switch i accidentally touched, any suggestions are most welcomed as it was working one minute, and stopped the next..
