I have no audio whatsoever from speakers or headphones (I only had one set to try in the jack socket), but my bluetooth earbuds seem to work OK.  HP support assistant does not detect any issues. The pre-startup HP hardware diagnostics (via pressing F2) says that the audio test is not available for this device - this is probably due to the machine having beats audio system.  The beats control panel has been lost long ago via one update or another.  I have tried installing sp71886 but that doesn't seem to have made any difference.  I suspect the hardware but unable to properly check. Anybody know how to properly diagnose or fix this?
