I understand you're experiencing issues with your audio device. Let's try to perform a clean install of the audio software/driver. Here's how:

  1. Download the driver from the following link and save it on your computer: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp112001-112500/sp112452.exe

  2. Go to Device Manager:

    • Type "Device Manager" into your Windows search bar and select it.
    • Expand the "Sound, video and game controllers" category.
    • Right-click on your audio driver (typically Realtek) and select "Uninstall device".
    • Confirm the uninstallation and restart your computer.
  3. After restarting, locate the driver file you downloaded earlier. Right-click on the file and select "Run as administrator" to install it.

  4. Once the installation is complete, restart your computer again.

Check if your audio device is now working properly.
