omen 17 cb0010nl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello.

After an update made automatically by windows two days ago(i think) the internal speaker of my omen 17 has stopped working. I usually use external speakers so i didnt realized that i had a problems since i unplugged the laptop from my desktop station. All the hp support assistant audio checks results as an all green situation. When you try to play any sounds none of the solutions given works. With headphones or bluetooth devices is all working, but cant seem to find any solution for internal speakers. Tried even different updates but nothing seems to fix that, any help? sorry for the bad english but i'm mainly italian speaker.

try enabling "Multistreaming" in Bang & Olufsen Audio control.

I had the same issue and this fixed it. It took me about 3 weeks to work it out. I tried all sorts of drivers and all HP support tools and found them pretty useless in resolving this 😞

I hope this work for you
