My notepad cannot see it's speakers and earjack also silent. Mute key f6 light on. Audio troubleshooter can't fix it. The hp virtual agent takes me to hard reset but I don't want to lose my files. Is there a softer way of installing the driver? Device manager/sound just has the conexant I2S audio codec, nil else. I have a second X2 which is fine, post windows 10 upgrade. This shows intel SST Audio Device (WDM) which is missing from the PC that has the problem.Thanks.

Before I can do anything to help, please let me know what is your Pavillion X2 ? Please use the following instructions to find out the model/product of your machine:

Please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n).
Regards.
