Microsoft Windows 11

No audio output device is installed. I have tried HP assist and audio drivers of all sorts. Nothing fixing sound.

Please try a CLEAN install:

 

1. Download  https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp131501-132000/sp131797.exe and save on your machine,

2. Use Device Manager to uninstall Audio driver driver,

3. Boot machine,

4. Install downloaded file,

5. Reboot machine.

Thanks. Didn’t work. I know I have tried similar. Is it even possible/likely that the audio cable inside the laptop popped out? Nothing seems to work. Do you have a second idea?
