Notebook 15-p099nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
  • I have a HP beats edition notebook 15-p099nr and I have no sound from the speakers but ithe headphones are working fine. Weird thingIthing ispis it a hardware diagnostics test though. When I ran the test I could hear the dings.

IAudio drivers are up to date,  I done a hard reset andI ran all the trouble shooting steps except messing w the BIOS.

There's not a red X on the audio icon, the volume is up plenty high enough.  The speakers worked fairly recently. Although I'm not certain they've worked since my windows updated to a newer version a few wks back. I havnt used it much since.  I do not have any backup disc, USB or anything.

Hello
if a new version of windows 10 has been installed the drivers may no longer be suitable
Unfortunately there is only an old version available
Try all the same, uninstall the driver.
Then reinstall the downloaded driver:
