I have owned this laptop for a few months now, but earlier this morning after I updated my laptop, my audio no longer works whatsoever. I have tried to update the driver, but to no avail. The audio troubleshooting is not showing any problems, but the icon for the normal audio has a red circle with a white "X" through it right next to the icon. Thing is, the audio was working perfectly fine before the update. If anyone has a solution, please let me know.

Hi! I'm having the same problem right now. Actually, my laptop suddenly went to blue screen. Then after restarting, no more audio. When I checked the audio, there's the same red circle with an X mark. In addition, I can't find the default speaker of the laptop (Bang & Olufsen). I'm desperate for any help. Thank you!

I keep running the recovery to install the driver.
It works until I turn the computer off. Then I need to run it again because the drivers lost......aGAIN!!!!!
I am heading out to return my HP at COSTCO and buy a DELL.
I do not have time to continue and reistall the driver every time I open my computer!!
