H120 Gaming headset
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So i bought a hp h120 gaming headset recently. It comes with 3 cables one is a usb cable for the leds,one is for the microphone and the other is for the sound. So when i connect the headset to my computer the computer recognizes the headset but no sound comes through the headset but the microphone is working properly. I have tried multiple solutions but none seem to work.I have tried other headsets with single 3.5 mm jack they work perfectly except this one. Thanks in advance.

@Ronodeep,

Welcome to the HP Forums 🙂 I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers. For you to have the best experience on the HP forum, you could also visit our HP Forums Guide for First Time Here? Learn How to Post and More. I see from your post that you need assistance with no sound coming from the new Headphones. Don't worry we'll work together to help you find a solution.

After reviewing the product - The usb provided with the headset is for the led to glow(power supply) and not for audio or mic.

In the meantime, I would suggest you follow the steps suggested in the support document for - HP PCs - Resolving Headphones and Headset Problems (Windows 😎

Hope this answers your question.

Good luck and keep me posted about the developments. If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue and give the post a Kudos for my efforts to help. Thank you and have a great week ahead. 🙂
