HP/Compaq ENVY Notebook 15
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So hello every one i have a big problem , that i can't solve for few days already. After automaticly update of windows 10 i got realy bad quality sound for no reason. So i tried configure on my sound panel , then i tried update my audio via device manager , latter reinstall it . p.s why when i reinstall it to realtek it still shows me High Definition Audio Device.. but not Realtek one. Help me with this bad quality audio asap. Thank you!

Hi:

Your notebook has the IDT HD audio chip, not the Realtek one.

See if installing this driver resolves the problem.  Install and restart the PC...

This package contains the driver that enables the IDT High-Definition (HD) Audio in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system.

Hi:

What is the product number of your notebook?

The product number can be found on the same sticker as the serial number.

I do not need the serial number, just the product number.
