Product: HP Envy x360 convertable
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have been given a brand new laptop today for Christmas and the sound is not working properly.  sound is coming out of the right speaker only but is of poor quality and practically inaudible. I have tried multiple hints and tips noted on the HP support site and gone through all the trouble shooting to no avail. I have even rebooted the computer and factory reset.

Can you please let me know if this is likely to be a hardware issue. I have tried with headphones and this is working fine.

There are hundreds of different HP Envy x360 convertible  models/products around, what is yours ?  Please use the following way to find out the model/product of your machine
