Hi,

It seems to be a problem with the conexant driver.

Go to msconfig (press winkey + R)  or (right-click on start and click on run)  and type msconfig.

Now go to startup menu and there should be an entry mictray or smartaudio. Disable this entry and  reboot the computer.

Hope it helps,

David

thank you very much. But I do it another way. But I do it another way. I go to Device Manager, go to Sound, Video and Game Controllers and remove the Conexant driver. But I'm still very thankful for your help. 😄

Hi Sir, disabling this will compromise your mic. so i believe this is not a good workaround... can you provide something that will solve this w/o compromising audio and mic?

I have this same issue.

I tried this solution, there was nothing in the startup menu so this does not apply.

What other things can I do to fix this?
