Printer preventing Scanning or Printing without going through a cloud account

Since lately my printer is DEMANDING that I create or sign-in to a cloud account to allow me to access services. (Print, scan etc) I DON'T wish to use cloud. How many I bypass

There is no bypass.

HP Smart now requires sign-in to your HP Account.

We don't have a choice if we want to use the application.

You can choose Not to use HP Smart.

Use software / application that (at this writing) does not require any sign-in options.
