I wanted to install the last driver posted on july 2020, but it's not compatible with my windows 10 pro... what can i do to repair this? i've instaled the update from may but no help unfortunatelly...

Please perform a clean install Audio software/driver, this should help.

   (a) Download the following driver and save on your computer,
                   https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp112001-112500/sp112292.exe

   (b) Go to Device Manager, Sound to uninstall sound driver (Realtek) and reboot,
   (c) Right click downloaded file and select Run as administrator,
   (d) Reboot again.

Regards.

There is a possibility that it is "defective", and needs to be replaced, under its warranty.

Or, do you get the same results when connecting the speakers to a different computer (or audio-out socket on a smart-phone) ?
