This B&O audio control app is not working anymore, i cannot turn on the Audio Preset as the button dissappeared. I tried to reinstall drivers, restart pc, use HP support assistant, update windows 11 (this may even be the main reason that the driver does not work with the app anymore),... but nothing happened. Please, i beg, consider about fixing bugs of the drivers, app, and then release updates so that it can be more compatible with the hardware by B&O audio (the sound is great but the software goes with is not).

Hi @ThuanThen,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
If your B&O Audio Control app is not working on your Victus by HP 16.1" Gaming Laptop (16-e0000 series), and the Audio Preset button disappeared, try these fixes:
1. Reinstall the B&O Audio Control App
- Open Microsoft Store and search for "Bang & Olufsen Audio Control".
- If available, install/update the app.
- If it's missing, try HP Support Assistant for software updates.
2. Reinstall the Audio Driver (Realtek)
- Press Windows + X → Select Device Manager.
- Expand Sound, Video, and Game Controllers.
- Right-click Realtek Audio → Select Uninstall device (check "Delete driver software").
- Restart your laptop → Windows will reinstall the driver.
3. Install the Official HP Audio Driver
- Go to HP’s official support site:
HP Support - Victus 16-e0000 Drivers - Enter your laptop model and download:
- Realtek Audio Driver
- Bang & Olufsen Audio Software (if available)
- Install and restart your PC.
4. Check Windows Audio Enhancements
- Right-click the speaker icon → Sound Settings.
- Scroll down to Advanced Sound Options → More Sound Settings.
- Under Playback Devices, select Speakers (Realtek) → Click Properties.
- Go to Enhancements → Enable B&O Audio Effects (if available).
5. Restore Windows Audio Settings
- Press Windows + R, type mmsys.cpl, and press Enter.
- Go to the Playback tab → Select Speakers (Realtek).
- Click Set as Default → OK.

6. Check Windows Audio Service
- Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
- Scroll to Windows Audio and Windows Audio Endpoint Builder.
- Ensure both services are Running and set to Automatic.
- If they are stopped, right-click and click Start.
7. Roll Back Windows Update (If the Issue Started After an Update)
- Press Windows + I → Windows Update.
- Click Update History > Uninstall Updates.
- Find the most recent update related to audio or drivers, then Uninstall it.
- Restart your PC.
8. Use HP Recovery Manager to Restore Original Drivers
- Press Windows + S, type Recovery Manager, and open it.
- Click Reinstall drivers and applications.
- Look for Realtek Audio Driver and Bang & Olufsen Audio Control.
- Reinstall them and restart.
9. Reset Windows (Last Resort)
If nothing works, you might need to reset Windows while keeping your files:
- Press Windows + I → System > Recovery.
- Under Reset this PC, click Keep My Files.
- Follow on-screen instructions.
Hope this helps! Let me know if you need more guidance. 😊
