Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I have HP 830 G6, the speakers are not working on Windows (10 and 11). They beep in the BIOS and run fine in Linux (Tested on Fedora Linux 39). I know it is not a hardware issue and is a software issue. I have contacted Microsoft Support before and they could not fix this issue themselves. I have and they have tried all the troubleshooting steps there are, i.e., uninstalling and reinstalling the driver, running the troubleshooter, updating the drivers, and more.
Windows shows no Audio Device installed error, the device manager shows that the Realtek(R) Audio Driver can not start giving Error 10. I have tried installing the older versions of the driver too.
Another step I have taken is use HP Cloud Recovery. I created a bootable of Windows with all drivers and installed it. Still the same issue. I am running the latest BIOS.
